The Hue & Hive Method

What is the Hue & Hive Method?

The Hue & Hive Method brings wardrobe, color, and home together so you can feel at home in your clothes and in the spaces you live in. I help people who feel off in their clothes and at home make their wardrobes and spaces actually feel like them, so it’s easier to show up as themselves and be there for other people and animals in their lives. It’s one process with three doors in: your wardrobe, your colors and personal style, and your home.

This is 1 process with three doors: your wardrobe, your colors and personal style, and your home.

We do the visual side of personal branding—making sure what people see in your clothes and spaces is what you intend, and that it feels like you.

Instead of working room by room, we work by category, using the KonMari (Marie Kondo) Method as the primary system:

Clothing • Books • Papers • Miscellaneous items (Komono) • Sentimental

To support the KonMari methods of tidying up, we layer custom color analysis and Elements of Personal Design (your proportions, lines, scale, contrast, texture, etc.). These additional tools give us a clear lens for what belongs in your life now and what doesn’t—what to keep, what to let go of, and what to add with intention.

The goal is for this process to be non‑shaming. We work with what’s real in your life and home, and we make decisions together at your pace. Part of my job is to make room for the feelings that show up along the way, especially the ones you’ve felt you had to hide about yourself, your clothes or your space.

For solopreneurs and people who are the face of their business, this process also clarifies your personal brand. The colors and style we land on for your clothes can carry straight into your website, photos, and other places clients meet you.

The Hue & Hive Journey
(Living Your Style Foundation)

The Hue & Hive Journey is the complete engagement through wardrobe, Color & Style, and Home Transformation.

Sometimes I call this the Living Your Style Foundation, because it’s the base that everything else rests on—how you get from “this isn’t me anymore” in your closet and your rooms to “this feels like home.”

Over several months we:

  • Start in your wardrobe (often with an intensive 3–5 day start, or several 3–5 hour sessions)

  • Move into custom Color & Style (palette and Elements of Personal Design)

  • Return to your wardrobe to rebuild outfits and refine what stays / what goes / what to buy

  • Continue through the KonMari categories in your home, and “stage for living” at the end

Investment for The Hue & Hive Journey (Living Your Style Foundation) begins at $5,500.

Why This Matters

This process is about how we live.

Most of my clients don’t come because they want a perfect closet or a showpiece home. They come because something feels off: their clothes don’t feel like them anymore, their rooms are full but not comforting, and day‑to‑day life takes more effort than it needs to.

When we go through wardrobe, color, and home together, things start to line up in small, practical ways:

  • Getting dressed takes less time and feels easier

  • Packing for trips is simpler

  • It’s easier to have people over without apologizing for your space

  • You can see what you have and actually use it

  • You make more deliberate choices about what comes in next

When people feel at home in their clothes and spaces, they can show up differently in their work and relationships. We have the option to show up as ourselves.

"The question of what you want to own is actually the question of how you want to live your life."
